Site Cut
Site cut and filled today. Apart from the front right hand corner, our land is actually quite flat. They found 2 orphaned concrete blocks left by the demolition people. Jim was not too pleased when I called him to pick them up. Maybe we'll keep them to landscape the front ; ). Mobile toilet has arrived and wooden grate was put over the driveway.
Retaining Wall
Retaining wall at the front built. Timber with steel posts. Would have to think about my front landscaping and drainage. There is a porous pipe at the bottom of retaining wall.

Tree pruned
Since we got rid of the shed, we may as well prune the big tree in the back. Will be hard to do after the house is built. It was almost a disaster when LC noticed the tree truck rocking up to the wrong plot of land in the street. Lopped as many branches off as possible on our side of the fence to maximize the sun.

Shed demolished
What a bummer! Council refused permit to moved house forward. Best we got was 8m set back. Had to get rid of the shed as it was touching the end of our alfresco. Maybe it was a good thing as our shed is quite ugly and we have plenty of storage in our new big garage. Problem is that the shed is stuffed full of garden tools and things that I was too lazy to sort out. Also got rid of the brick pavings at the back.

Asbestos Removed
Demolition people ripped out the eaves and the ceiling of the car port. Didn't know that the bathroom and toilet had asbestos too.. Jim told us that they were too busy with the Christmas break coming up. Will probably finish the job in the New Year : (

Electricity Pit
Didn't know these guys work on Saturday. They rocked up, made a big mess but thankfully they cleaned up unlike the gas people. They bored from a pole across the road and installed a 3 phase cable.
